Fundamentals of Nutrition: Better Feeds for Healthier Fish
September 21, 8 AM to 12 PM, Radisson Blu
Instructor: Dr. Jesse Trushenski
Cost: $50/500 NOK
Fundamentals of Nutrition will offer fish health professionals a working knowledge of fish nutrition and guidance for achieving better outcomes in the field. The workshop will cover core nutritional principles, common nutritional diseases, interactions between nutrition and infectious diseases, and practical strategies for improving fish health and performance.

Fish Pathology Workshop
September 21, 8 AM to 5 PM, The Noatun Laboratory, Nord University
Instructors: Drs. David Groman, Jeff Wolf, and Ginevra Brocca
Cost: $150/1500 NOK
The workshop is designed for entry and midlevel fish health researchers and workers, as well as students. Demonstrations on diagnostic necropsy protocol with reference to diagnostic lab submissions with be the focus in the morning, using Atlantic salmon and Wolffish specimens. The afternoon session will include sessions on Zebrafish histo-anatomy and physiology as well as case studies of unusual Atlantic salmon and Wolffish pathologies.

- Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the ISAAH abstract submission portal
- The Abstract submission deadline is 8 June 2026
- Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, written in English, and include a clear statement of objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Please indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation.
- The presenting author must be registered for ISAAH.

Business Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Fish Health Section (FHS) takes place every year, either on its own or in conjunction with another workshop or symposium.
